Black Health
Resource Directory

In 2010, the Colorado Black Health Collaborative (CBHC) launched the first edition of its Black Health Resource Directory in response to a clear call from the community.

Since then, the Directory has been updated every three years, establishing itself as a trusted source of reliable information for residents of our state seeking treatment from Black medical professionals.

The CBHC partnered with Connect for Health Colorado to create the 2024 edition, allowing the CBHC to:

Expand its medical professionals’ listings to include doctors and specialists from Fort Collins to Pueblo.

Provide additional details to the listings, such as accepted insurance carriers and the availability of telehealth.

Highlight 22 health-related organizations and their services, establishing the Directory as a comprehensive, one-stop “Black Health Hub”.

Feature guest articles from local medical professionals, as well as government, political, religious, and community leaders, addressing our health needs.

Establish a digital format that provides online access and enables regular updates to listings.
