Resources

The CBHC promotes health awareness among the state’s Black residents by applying an equity lens. Our programs focus on addressing some of the main health issues that continue to impact the Black community, including cardiovascular disease, tobacco addiction, mental and emotional health challenges, and connecting Colorado residents with trusted Black healthcare professionals to access quality services.

As participants, students are able to serve in the role of a Youth Advisory Council (YAC).  A YAC member is considered a youth under 18 years of age who provides their perspective on all CBHC topics serving the community to encourage others to join events and activities when opportunities are available.
