The Colorado Black Health Collaborative (CBHC) believes in investing in the future of our community. CBHC mentors and engages young people with our community outreach events and activities. In addition to high school students, we also work with students who are pursuing their medical, public health, and other health-related degrees. Through volunteerism their involvement permits them to become knowledgeable about the health disparity issues facing our community; and provides them with insight as to how we as a non-profit organization operate and do our community outreach work. Meet two of our student volunteers, Patrice Harris and Johnny Williams. Both of these amazing students have contributed their time, energy, skills and talents to the work we are doing to achieve health equity in the Black Community.
